This wrap has been great for me! I would give it 4 stars because it seems to be uncomfortable or tight around the legs but I have never had a leak with one. I purchased the newborn and x-small sizes- the newborn worked right up to about 10 lbs but the x-small worked from his newborn weight (~7lbs) and still fits well at 15lbs.

I love the fabric these a made out of, it seems sturdy yet soft. If that makes any sense. The only problem is that when you have a skinny baby it leaks around the legs. The Thirsties covers have leg gussets that keep more of the leaks in. Maybe they would keep more leaks in on a bigger baby, but not for my little girl. I still use the Bummis but just around the house and not a night.

When I bought my first batch of prefold diapers from Amazon the covers recommended to go with it were the Bummis Super Whisper Wrap. However from the start I didn't like them. They were starchy stiff and didn't seem to fit around baby well at all. They are very wide and low and I felt like they made her body rigid and were very bulky under her clothes. They also have no extra leg gusset and although we managed to avoid any major leaks I found this a short-coming of a diaper cover that was seemingly so well hyped.
I've used several types of other covers since and just got Thirsties which are by far the very best around! I just wrote a full review on my cloth diaper cover experiences which can be found on my blog [...]

There's no doubt about it, for cost and eco-friendliness cloth diapering is the way to go, and the new innovations are so easy and convenient there's no reason not to. That said, I've tried these, Kushies, and bumGenius. We just started using these because my baby just passed 8 lbs. I use these with Chinese prefolds (which btw are the most absorbent thing out there and so cheap!). My daughter's had no leaks and seems perfectly comfortable in them. Hence, four stars.
BUT... they're limited in size and you have to buy a diaper to go in them. The cost of a whisper wrap plus a chinese prefold is only a few dollars less than the bumGenius, which is the most amazing cloth diaper invented IMHO, because it comes complete and it fits for so long. It fit my daughter at under 7 lbs and is supposed to fit up to 35 lbs (hopefully she'll be potty trained before then!). So if you count the amount of time you CAN'T use the whisper wrap because it's too small or too big, it's cheaper and more convenient to pay a few extra dollars to go with the bumGenius.

These are definitely the best covers I have tried... that goes for any Bummis Super Whisper Wraps. NO LEAKS! I have a skinny little toddler and the fact that you can overlap the velcro is a plus. My daughter loves them... it's a great print - good for girls or boys. They wash great with the diapers... no poop stains remain. Air dry is strongly recommended. The only bad thing is when you have a poopy diaper, the rear tabs tend to fold right into where the poop is! However, as long as you are aware of it, it's easy to deal with. Overall, a great cover, super soft, and a good buy for the money.
