very much like the ones i had a s a child and very effective. need rubber pants over then if you do not want to change outer clothing all day.

They do not seem to contain even a small mess, they totally leak through and my son even ends up with urine running down his legs and onto his socks. I discontinued use and found that you're better off going with regular undies and those Gerber rubber training pants over them, less bulk for the child plus these dry quicker after washing than the Potty Scottys which have the useless thick paddding.

I purchased these training pants because of the recommendation of the tv show the drs. I like them, however, I feel a rubber pant is still required because my son has wet through them a few times. they are a nice soft material and wash well. also, i felt they ran true to size.

These are a little pricey, but well worth it. They work great and my grandson's loves his "big boy" underwear. They are easy on and off and we love them!
